An old codger said to me tonight,
"It's going to be an exceptionally cold winter this year,
so they say.
And to make matters even worse,
they have put us on slow time,
so it will go really slowly.
Then they put us on fast time for summer,
and summer goes so fast,
it's gone before you know it,
and you just didn't have enough time to enjoy it all."
Well, old codger,
I hope to slow down time, anyway, when I retire.
Does this mean winter will soon become my favourite time then?
