The village of Wellington, ON has public benches on Water St. overlooking Lake ON.
I am over my poison ivy pain, but still itch lightly, so spent some time relaxing down by the lake instead of cycling today.

Daughter of Flt. Sgt. Roland M. Smith, and Roberta (Cole) Smith. Earned teaching degree in 1969 but rarely taught, except for home schooling my youngest 2 daughters until grades 4. For 16 years, my husband and I operated a tourist resort called Wil-O-Lea Cottages. Author of Tom E. Toad for kids 3 - 8; and Author of Loads of Toads Activity Book for kids 3-10 which has valuable toad information, too, as well as being fun. In the beginning of this blog, I was numbering every day until my next birthday (65th) when Mr. Harper has to start paying me to stay at home, or, in this case, to cycle the Trans Canada Trail. As it turned out, I followed the TCT from Edmonton to Brandon, but it was mostly highway. You would have been welcome to join me. Karen Smith

Aren't you folks lucky as we do not have any leaves out on the trees yet. Watch out for that poison ivy, bad stuff, glad to hear that it is getting better.
